About

My Story
I’ve always loved painting, but it was during my time studying abroad in Austria through Franciscan University that I truly felt called to pursue art as a vocation. Being surrounded by the masters and immersed in beauty made me realize that I had so much I wanted to tell the world—and that beauty was a language everyone could understand. One of my first formative experiences was helping Red Fern Art Studio paint the stained glass windows that were installed in Christ the King Chapel on Franciscan’s campus. That project showed me the power of sacred art to elevate ordinary spaces and draw hearts toward the divine as well as showed me just how possible it was to pursue my dream!
When I began my studio, Begotten Not Made, I wanted it to carry the same mission that inspires my own faith: the mystery of being begotten, not made through Christ. Each piece I create seeks to reflect the truth that our lives are a gift, and that beauty—when shared—points us back to the Giver. My goal is to offer art that feels timeless and deeply meaningful, pieces that can live in homes and spark faith-filled conversations across generations.
Growing up, my mom always filled our home with beautiful and religious artwork. Those images helped me picture heaven, feel close to the saints, and imagine what it meant to have a personal relationship with God. I want my art to offer that same experience to others—to help people express their faith, teach their families about it, and find beauty that reminds them of the sacred presence woven into everyday life.
