Grisille Paintings

The grisille technique is the one that the great renaissance painters used! It requires painting the image twice: once in black and white and then in color. These are perfect if you wanting a painting which focuses on realism and clarity. My dream for these is to take all of what you already love about art and make something that is just for you, your home, and your family.
